Peter Heineman has been an urban elementary, middle and high school educator for nearly 30 years. Within the Philadelphia and Baltimore school systems, he has served as a content lead teacher, mentor to early career teachers, curriculum writer and coordinator, Instructional Support teacher, professional developer and a member of the school’s Instructional Leadership Team. He currently works to improve the climate and culture at Digital Harbor High School, Baltimore City Public Schools, as their Restorative Coordinator. He is owner and operator of MotivatED, a practical staff development organization that researches and implements ideas to cultivate student motivation. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Temple University and a Master in Human Resources with an Administration Certificate at Towson University.
